FRAUDS/DISPROVEN

Fakes, false hauntings, etc etc.

Here we've got some pretty good fake photographs for you to look at;  proving that yes, they "can" be faked. This is the only place on this site that you'll find falsified photographs and accounts of  hauntings. Old Navy saying: "Believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see."

Flashlight shining through fish tank, messy house.

Fog? No, Pete's smoking. But looks like one, don't it?

Oh yes, look at all those orbs! Wait.. why is my camera lens wet? (spray bottle water mist) Please note how these orbs are solid, and do not have that transparency that spirit orbs seem to have.

Again, a fog, Apparition? No, cigarette burning in front of lens with flashlight in background.

More fog? No, flashlight "orb" and blown cigarette smoke.

"Smoke gets in your eyes" and in the camera lens. As Art would say "Bonk!"

Perhaps the most "famous fake" the camera strap - oh, but no, it's a vortex.... no, it's the camera strap.... BONK!

RECENTLY DISPROVEN PHOTOS:

Proof that even we paranormal researchers can make mistakes - recent "Cherub pictures" were found by Pete to have been a reflection off the fish tank. Here they are.

Looked good at the time.

A close up. Looks odd, right?

But if you look close at the fish tank, you can see how this reflection gets produced.

Fishy+water+flash ="Cherub" The water's refractive properties distort the picture and therefore, this has been disproven.

Still more "fake" is the reputed haunting of "Whiskey Hollow" in Baldwinsville, NY. I'm sorry, but the ESPRS has dubbed THAT one the overactive imagination of someone from the city who's never been in the countryside at night. There wasn't a DAMN thing there, except for a nice place to camp out and some rather good spring water.
